Ingredients
1.5l – Water
2tbsp – Chia seeds
1tsp – Black salt
1tsp – Chaat masala
2tbsp – Honey
2 no – Lemon juice
Mint leaves – Few
1/2 no – Beetroot, medium
Method
*Mix all the ingredients and let the water sit for 30 minutes so that the chia seeds plump up.

Lemon is a natural source of vitamin C, which acts as a powerful antioxidant and plays a crucial role in maintaining skin health and supporting the immune system. Dr Kapoor shared that it also adds a refreshing citrus flavour to the beverage, enhancing its taste and appeal.
Honey not only provides a touch of sweetness but also contains antioxidants and antibacterial properties that can support overall health. According to Dr Kapoor, it has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for various ailments and is a healthier alternative to refined sugar.
Beetroot is incredibly hydrating and packed with essential nutrients such as vitamins A, C, and K, as well as minerals like potassium and manganese. “It also contains nitrates, which have been shown to improve blood flow, lower blood pressure, and enhance athletic performance,” said Dr Kapoor.
Black salt, also known as kala namak, is a type of rock salt that is rich in minerals and has a distinctive sulfurous flavour. “It adds depth and complexity to the beverage while providing additional electrolytes to support hydration,” said Dr Kapoor.
