Anant Ambani recently tied the knot with Radhika Merchant. Ahead of the grand wedding ceremony on July 12, the Ambani family hosted a traditional Shiv Shakti puja, and the mehendi for the couple at their Mumbai residence. While the event undoubtedly attracted many celebrities, a heartwarming moment emerged as Nita Ambani, the groom’s mother, briefly paused to acknowledge the paparazzi waiting outside Antilia.

As always, Nita’s sartorial choice was nothing short of breathtaking. She donned a unique creation by acclaimed design duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The showstopper was a peacock emerald green tharad lehenga, meticulously adorned with hand-embroidered soni work. Tiny mirrors embedded within the intricate patterns shimmered with each step. The lehenga was paired with a royal blue satin silk dupatta and a meticulously crafted golden blouse that was embellished with silver threadwork. A matching chandan haar perfectly complemented the lehenga’s grandeur.

To complete her regal look, Nita Ambani opted for glamorous makeup and a chic French bun hairstyle. A statement piece truly stole the spotlight — a massive kundan diamond and gold necklace with matching earrings and bangles. This opulent set, previously worn by her at Isha Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities, added a touch of heirloom elegance to her attire.

The ceremony also saw the presence of Shloka Mehta Ambani’s mother, Mona Mehta, and Anand Piramal’s mother, Swati Piramal. Mona Mehta looked resplendent in a vibrant red sari, while Swati Piramal exuded sophistication in a sequined mauve-coloured sari.

The much-anticipated wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant officially commenced on July 12 with the auspicious Shubh Vivah ceremony. Guests are expected to adhere to a traditional Indian dress code. The following day, July 13, will be dedicated to Shubh Aashirwad, where a formal Indian dress code is requested. The festivities will culminate in a grand wedding reception, the Mangal Utsav, on July 14th, where guests are invited to dress in Indian chic attire. All ceremonies will be held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
