The list would be incomplete without mentioning the iconic pearly Schiaparelli ensemble worn by Kim Kardashian for Met Gala 2023. The outfit designed by the fashion house’s creative director Daniel Roseberry featured 50,000 pearls–adorned in strings–covering her bust and legs–embellished over a nude-toned bodysuit. She teamed the look with a dramatic cape jacket with a long train and exaggerated sleeves. Styling her hair in a top bun with loose strands, the SKIMS founder opted for nude makeup to seal the look.

The vintage white silk-satin sari embellished with shiny pearls was paired with a matching blouse, featuring pearl strings draping her sleeves and bust. The actor styled her hair in a sleek fashion and opted for minimal makeup.
