UPSC CSE Main 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the time table for Civil Services (Main) Examination 2023. The exams will begin from September 15 and conclude on September 24. The time table is available on the official website— upsc.gov.in.

The civil services main exam will be conducted in two shifts — the morning shift from 9 am to 12 pm and the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exams will be conducted on September 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24.

On September 15 there will be paper 1— essay (paper 1) during the morning shift. On September 16, there will be two papers— general studies 1 (paper 2) and general studies 2 (paper 3). General Studies 3 (paper 4) and general studies 4 (paper 5) will be conducted on September 17.

On September 23, the morning shift paper will be for the Indian language (paper A) and the afternoon shift paper will be for English (paper B). Optional subject paper 1 (paper 6) will be held during the morning shift of September 24 and optional subject paper 2 (paper 7) will be conducted during the afternoon shift.
