The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the registration process for recruitment exam of sub-inspector in Delhi police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Interested candidates can apply for the post at the official SSC website — ssc.nic.in.
Aspirants have time till August 15 to register for the government job vacancies.
The window for application form correction and online payment of correction charges will open on August 16 and conclude on August 17 (11 pm).
As per the official schedule, the computer based examination will be held in the month of October, but the exact date has not been released yet.
The post of Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs carries pay scale of level 6 (Rs 35,400- Rs 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial. The post of Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police carries pay scale of level 6 (Rs 35,400 -Rs 1,12,400) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.
Age limit for the posts is 20-25 years; i.e. candidate must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1998, the official notification states.
