The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final vacancy list against Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2023. The SSC CGL recruitment will fill a total of 8,415 vacancies in multiple departments. Earlier, it was around 7,500 vacancies. Candidates can check the final vacancies and fill the option-cum-preference form accordingly between November 18 and November 21 at ssc.nic.in. Candidates who do not submit the option-cum-preference will not be considered for any post in the final result, SSC said in a statement. Candidates will also have the provision to change their service preferences before the deadline. The candidates who have appeared in SSC CGL tier-2 are required to mandatorily exercise their option-cum-preferences for consideration of their candidature in the final merit list or the final selection in CGLE-2023. SSC will analyse the available posts to the candidates as per their rank in their category and then prepare the SSC CGL 2023 final result. Shortlisted candidates will be appointed to the posts including Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer Group ‘B’ Gazetted (Non Ministerial),Assistant, Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector Posts, Sub Inspector (CBI), Assistant / Assistant Superintendent and Research Assistant. Calling applications for option-cum-preference, SSC in the statement said that PwBD candidates will have to make sure that they give preference for only those posts which are identified as suitable for their disabilities. Allocation of posts will be made as per the provisions of the notice of examination on the basis of 'merit-cum-preference of posts', SSC added, saying that the candidature of a PwBD candidate will get cancelled by the user department concerned if the candidate gets selected for a post that is not identified as suitable for the disabilities.
