SAIL management trainee recruitment: The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has invited applications for a total of 399 management trainees (technical) posts. The recruitment will be based on the score obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official websites, sail.co.in or sailcareers.com.

These posts were advertised in May 2019, for 142 posts, however, the number of vacancies has been revised and hence the applications reopen. Those who have already applied need to re-apply. The renewed application process has been open since November 25 and will close on December 15.

SAIL management trainee recruitment: Eligibility

Education: Apart from clearing the GATE, candidates will have to appear for a written test followed by an interview to be eligible for the job. Candidates should have obtained at least 65 per cent marks in engineering degree.

Age: The upper age limit is capped at 28 years. For reserved category candidates, there is age relaxation in the upper limit, as per the government rules.

Selected candidates will be hired at a salary of Rs 9 lakh per annum.
