RRB NTPC Apply Online 2024 Updates: Steps to fill application, eligibility— All you need to know

Relaxation of 3 years in age beyond the prescribed age limit as a one- time  measure due to the Covid-19 pandemic to be added in above maximum age limit 

No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Non- Creamy Layer) candidates applying against unreserved vacancies. 

PwBD candidates applying against UR vacancies will be allowed age relaxation applicable for UR PwBD only. If a candidate is eligible for relaxation of age on more than one ground, he/she would be accorded the highest of the age relaxations for which he/she is eligible. The lower and upper age limit indicated for the post(s) in the Vacancy Table will be reckoned as of 01.01.2025. For 7th CPC Level 5 and 6 (Graduate level Posts), the Date of Birth of candidates should be between the dates given below (both dates inclusive):

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) today released the IBPS Regional Rural Banks (RRB) PO Result 2024 for the prelims exam at its official website — ibps.in. The IBPS RRB 2024 Prelims exam for Group A Officers Scale-I was conducted on August 3, and 4.

The above medical standards are indicative and not exhaustive and apply to candidates in general. Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any other surgery procedure to correct refractory error are not eligible for the post having Medical Standard A-2, A-3 in this CEN.

"Ordinarily, a Railway servant shall be employed throughout service on the Railway or Railway establishment in which he/she is posted on first appointment and shall have no claim as a right for transfer to another railway or another establishment. However Competent Authority can transfer the Railway servant to any other department or Railway establishment, including a project in or out of India, in the exigencies of service. No request for transfer to other Railway would be registered till the newly appointed candidates completes at least 5 to 10 years of service. There shall be two stages Computer Based Test (CBTs) followed by “Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT)/ Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable”

?  For Goods Train Manager, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, there shall be two stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.

Step 2: Click on Apply: (Create an Account / and already have an Account). 

Step 3: Candidates are advised to fill in the details required for account creation with utmost care, as corrections of any kind will not be permitted once the account is created. Details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form (including mobile number and Email ID) can not be modified at any stage once the account is created. 

Step 4: Complete the form and pay the fees. 

Step 5: Download the application form for future purposes.

To avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised in their interest to register and submit an online application much before the closing date since there may be a possibility of inability/failure to log on to the website of RRB concerned on account of heavy load on the internet or website during last days of online registration.

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed Medical Standards for the post(s) they are opting for. It is to be noted by the candidates that in case the candidate is found to be medically unsuitable for the opted post at the time of medical before appointment, alternate appointment shall not be given

Candidates should have their mobile number, valid & active personal email id and keep the same (i.e mobile & e-mail) active for the entire duration of recruitment as RRBs shall send all recruitment related communications only through SMS and email till the recruitment is completely over. RRBs will not entertain any request for change of mobile number and email address at any stage. 

Candidates should ensure that they possess/fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post(s) as of the closing date of online registration, October 13. Candidates waiting for the final results of prescribed educational qualification should not apply.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has extended the date for the registration of the Common Admission Test 2024. Now, the registration will be closed on September 20. 

• Blurred photographs may lead to the rejection of your application form.
• Invalid signature or signature done in a block letter can lead to the rejection of the application form
• If a candidate has filled out multiple application forms, then their candidature will be rejected.
• If Class X certificates show that the candidate does not fulfill the age limit criteria, then his/her candidature will be rejected.
• Not meeting minimum educational qualifications will also lead to the rejection of the application form.

As per the RRB NTPC 2024 eligibility criteria, for graduate posts, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and for undergraduate posts, candidates must have completed the Class 12 from a recognised board.

As per the RRB NTPC notification, the candidates can apply for graduate level posts from September 14 to October 13 and for undergraduate posts between September 21 and October 20. 

The recruitment drive seeks to fill around 11,558 vacancies for both graduate and undergraduate posts.

Interested students will have to visit the official website, rrbapply.gov.in to fill the appliation form.
