RRB JE 2024 Exam Date: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the exam date for the RRB Junior Engineer post at its official website. The exam for the junior engineer will be conducted from December 6 to December 13 in a computer-based mode. Applicants who are appearing for the RRB recruitment exam can check the official notification from the official regional website of RRB Ranchi — rrbranchi.gov.in.

The application for the RRB JE started on July 30 and was closed on August 29 with the correction window option deadline on September 8. The two-stage RRB JE examination is followed by the document verification and medical examination of all the shortlisted candidates.

This year, the Board aims to fill a total of 7,951 vacancies for various posts in Indian Railways. Out of these, 17 vacancies were allocated for chemical supervisors, research and metallurgical supervisors, and research posts. While 7,934 vacancies are allocated for junior engineers, depot material superintendents and chemical and metallurgical assistant posts.

Meanwhile, the registration process for RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 has been reopened. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the technician posts can submit their applications at the official RRB website — rrbapply.gov.in. Candidates now have time till October 16 to register for the government exam.

As per the official schedule, the window to make modifications to the applications will be conducted from October 17 to October 21. Candidates will be able to make changes to their RRB application form after making a payment of Rs 250 for each modification.

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 14298 technician posts as opposed to the earlier 9144 for open lines (17 categories). The posts were added after RRB received additional demand from Zonal Railways/ Production Units.
