RRB Railway Group D Result 2018-2019: The Railway Recruitment Board is expected to announce the recruitment notification for over one lakh vacancies soon. “The Railway Board will advertise for the first phase of the recruitment in the last week of February and the second likely on May. The entire recruitment process will be completed by August 2021,” Angaraj Mohan said.
The new recruitment process would include the 10 per cent Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota.
The RRB has delayed the result for group D exams. An RRB official had said that the result would be declared on February 17 late night, the result was not declared. Instead, many regional websites had broken down, reportedly because of high traffic. Talking to indianexpress, the official said that a new notification regarding the result date is expected to be released anytime soon. The delay is being caused due to high number of candidates. According to official data, over 1.8 crore people registered for the exam.
A candidate possessing more than one minimum educational qualification, mapped to different Exam Groups, can choose any one Exam Group, provided he/she opts for the post(s) whose educational qualification is mapped to the chosen exam group. However, these candidates would be eligible for all the opted posts, according to RRB notice.

RRBs conduct verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidates have qualified in all the stages of examinations and are shortlisted for Document Verification. RRBs may reject the candidature of any applicant at any stage of recruitment process in case the candidate is found to be not fulfilling the requisite criteria and if appointed, such a candidate shall be removed from service summarily
On completion of all stages of the recruitment process, RRBs shall allot post & Railway as per the option of the candidates ONLY subject to merit, medical standard and vacancy position. Once candidates have been empanelled as per their merit/choice, they will forfeit the right to be considered for any other post/category.

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST30%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD candidates in case of shortage of PWD candidates against vacancies reserved for them, according to official notification.
While candidates are awaiting group D result, the RRB had announced the date to release the answer key for ALP, Technician. According to the RRB, the answer key can be released anytime post noon on Monday, February 18. Candidates can refer to their regional websites for the same.
Considering a large number of candidates, over 1.8 crore, registered for the recruitment exam, only 1-2% candidates are expected to be selected for the next round which is physical eligibility tets. The cut-off too is expected to go as high as 75 for unreserved category candidates. Experts told that those who are sure of attempting at least 65 correct answers can expect to consider it a good attempt.
A total of 1.89 crore candidates appeared for the Group D recruitment examination that was conducted from September 17 to December 17, 2018. The expected cut-off for the exam, according to experts, is 65-70 marks.

This is the result for the written exam after this candidates will have to clear PET, document verification and medical fitness test. Here is the syllabus for the PET round -
Male: Candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 kilograms of weight for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes in one chance without putting the weight down. They have to run for a distance of 1000 metres in four minutes and 15 seconds.
Female: Candidates should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes in without putting the weight down and they will have to run for 1000 metres in five minutes and 40 seconds.
Candidates who will clear the examinations have to appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET), the dates of which will be released in the last week of February.
Earlier, there were news of the result being declared by Saturday, however, it is taking more time and as per latest update the result can be expected by Sunday late evening (February 17, 2019) But why was this delay caused? Talking to indianexpress.com, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) official said, "Taking into consideration the number of candidates, the board is taking time and precautions to release error-free results. The results of RRB Group D examinations will be released by Sunday, February 17, 2019."

The Railway Protection Force has released the answer key for the Constable recruitment examinations. The answer key is available on the official website, and the candidates can download through it.

Like the last recruitment process, the Class 10 pass candidates can apply for the posts of Group D, and for the posts of Group C, a minimum Class 12 pass is required with other qualifications depending on the posts.

The document which needs to be presented before the board includes, Class 10 (SSC) admit card, mark sheet of all the examinations as mentioned in the application, address proof which requires voter id card details and Aadhar card, and other necessary documents as mentioned by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

Pay Scale 1 – Rs 15,600 to Rs 60,60
Pay Scale 2 – Rs 29,900 to Rs 1,04,40
