The Krea University will inaugurate its trading floor on February 2, 2024 in its Sri City, Andhra Pradesh campus. The purpose of the trading floor, a university statement said, is to provide the students with opportunities to practice simulated trading and other finance-related activities using Bloomberg, Sensibull and other virtual trading and technical analysis software available on the trading Floor.

The trading floor seeks to provide students with experiential learning to further the students’ employment skills and knowledge of real-world applications of financial programmes.

The trading floor aims at blending the fundamentals of financial theory with real-world events and data through a series of interactive and engaging mock trading workshops for the students of IFMR-GSB-Krea University, the official statement added.

The university is also entering into an MOU with Zerodha Broking Ltd. The agreement between them would focus on enabling the students to leverage Zerodha Varsity online training as well as Zerodha certification to improve their employability and make the students industry-ready.
