The Great Place To Work, an authority on workplace culture, has released its 2024 list of the top 25 companies in the World’s Best Workplaces. It is based on surveys from over 7.4 million employees worldwide and an in-depth analysis of workplace programmes impacting more than 20 million people globally. Here is the list of the top 25 companies where job seekers can apply:
This year under the ranking the first spot is taken by a transportation and logistics giant DHL Express, with hotelier Hilton ranking second and AbbVie placing third. The World’s Best Workplaces range across industries, with information technology, professional services, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals making up nearly half of the winners, as claimed in the report.
In the companies on the list, 55 per cent more employees report that managers care about them beyond their value as employees of the organization compared to a typical workplace, and 48 per cent more state that leaders embody their company’s values. At the typical workplace, less than half of employees say that promotions are fairly awarded, a benchmark that the World’s Best Workplaces exceed by 60 per cent.
