The elections to the Jharkhand legislative assembly will be held in a total of five phases starting from November 30, the Elections Commission of India announced Friday. The results of the same will be declared on December 23.
Out of the 81 assembly constituencies, 13 will go to polls in the first phase of the elections on November 30. The last date of filing nominations for the same is November 13.
The second phase of the assembly polls will have people from 20 assembly constituencies voting on December 7. The last date of filing nominations for this phase is November 18.

The third phase to be held on December 12 will see 17 constituencies go to polls and the deadline for filing nominations for this is November 25.
Election to 15 more assembly constituencies will be held December 16, and the nominations for the same have to be filed latest by November 29.
The fifth and the last phase of the elections will have the remaining 16 assembly constituencies of the state going to the polls, the last date of filing nominations for which is December 3.
Results will be announced on December 23.
