The Class 10 and 12 board examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) would be declared on Friday, May 24, TBSE secretary Dr Dulal Dey said on Wednesday. The results of Madrassa Fazil and Madrassa Alim will also be announced on the same day at TBSE office via a press conference, he said. The higher secondary examinations were held from March 1 to March 30, while the Madhyamik or Class 10 examinations were held between March 2 and March 23. The state education board said that around 33,000 students and over 23,000 students appeared for Class 10 and higher secondary examinations respectively this year. A total of 69 centres and 144 venues were set up for Class 10 board examinations while another 60 centres and 98 venues were set up for Class 12 examinations. The number of candidates who took the state board examinations reduced this year as many schools that followed the state syllabus went put under Vidyajyoti scheme.
