2 soldiers killed, 3 seriously injured as Army vehicle skids off road in J&K’s Bandipora

Police sources said the Army vehicle rolled down near the Wular Lake in Sadrakote village on the Srinagar-Bandipora highway.

Two Army men were killed and three others seriously injured after their vehicle skidded off the road in north Kashmir’s Bandipora on Saturday.

The injured soldiers have been shifted to the Army hospital in Srinagar where their condition is said to be critical.

Police sources said the Army vehicle rolled down near the Wular Lake in Sadrakote village on the Srinagar-Bandipora highway. The soldiers were soon rushed to a hospital where doctors declared two of them dead.

After initial treatment, the other three injured soldiers were taken to Srinagar for specialised treatment.
