X faces massive global outage for third time today, users unable to post content

Social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) has been facing outages across the world since Monday late afternoon with users not being able to upload or view content on the site.

According to DownDetector.com, 40,000 users reported having no access to the platform so far. 56 per cent of the cases were reported on the app, while 33 per cent were on the website.

According to the tracking website, the outages began at around 3 pm (IST), and peaked at 3.45 pm with 2,193 reported incidents. The second wave of reported outages started at 7 pm, peaking at 7.30 pm with 1,450 reports.

The site was still experiencing multiple glitches at the time of writing of this report, with a third wave of outages beginning at around 8.15 pm.
