Vaishnodevi pilgrim crushed to death in Jammu

One person was arrested after a matador that he was driving allegedly ran over an elderly pilgrim on way to the cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Reasi district on Tuesday,police said.

Devi Dutta (70) from Ludhiana was on his way towards the shrine when the matador hit him on Ban Ganga road in Katra town,the base camp of the shrine,they said,adding,driver of the matador,identified as Shiv Kumar,was arrested and a case registered against him.
