Restrictions on movement along Indo-Pak border in Samba

There is an apprehension of cross-border infiltration.

Authorities on Wednesday imposed restrictions on the movement of people within 500 metres of Indo-Pak border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The step has been taken in view of enhanced patrolling by security forces due to apprehension of cross-border infiltration.

District Magistrate,Samba,Mubarak Singh issued prohibitory orders restricting any movement within 500 metres of the international border from 8 pm to 5 am,with an immediate effect.

As per intelligence reports,militants are staged on launching pads along borderline ready to infiltrate into this side during the nights.
