Militants hideout busted in J-K

Security forces busted a militant hideout and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district today,police said.

Acting on a tip-off,a joint team of police and Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation at Sorem Behak forest in Kokernag,75 km from here,and came across the hideout,they said.

A 40-MM Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL),three AK-47 magazines with 25 rounds,three pistol magazines with 20 rounds and a wireless set were recovered from the spot,they said.
