Meena’s supporters disrupt traffic on Jaipur-Agra highway

They were angry over district administration's decision of not allowing Kirori Lal Meena to hold a rally in Udaipur.

Angry over the district administration’s decision of not allowing Meena community leader Kirori Lal Meena to hold a rally in Udaipur,supporters of the Dausa MP blocked the Jaipur-Agra National Highway for over two hours at three places in the district.

The supporters blocked the highway at Mahua,Balaji Mod and Lalsot.

Senior administrative and police officials intervened in the matter and pacified them following which they put an end to the blockade and it was thrown open for smooth traffic.

Meena was scheduled to take out a rally on Thursday demanding food and employment opportunities for tribals.

He was denied permission to take out a rally by the administration in Udaipur on Wednesday.

He was arrested on Wednesday and later released under apprehension that he might disrupt law and order in the city during his rally.
