Maha Governor greets people on ‘Gudhi Padwa’

Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan has greeted people of the state on the occasion of Gudhi Padwa.

In a message,the Governor has said,”Gudhi Padwa marks the beginning of the New Year and the advent of spring. The day has special significance in the life of people of Maharashtra especially the farmers.

“I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people on this auspicious occasion. I also take this opportunity to convey my greetings for ‘Chetti Chand’ and ‘Ugadi’.

“May the New Year bring happiness and prosperity to all the people of the state and the country,” he said.
