Karnataka using Krishna’s excessive water illegally: Kodela

Senior TDP leader and former Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Kodela Siva Prasad Rao has accused Karnataka of using excessive water of Krishna river illegally.

“As a result of over-exploitation of Krishna river water by Karnataka,Kharif cultivation in 35 lakh acres in six districts of Andhra Pradesh has become doubtful”,he added.

Speaking to reporters,he alleged that Congress Government in AP has failed to protect the interests of its farmers though the same Congress party is in power at the Centre.
