JCO found dead in Srinagar

A Junior Commissioned Officer of Army was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the Rashtriya Rifles camp in Kakapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district,a police spokesman said.

Subedar Narinder Singh Chowhan of 55 Rashtriya Rifles,was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the 55 Rashtriya Rifles camp in Kakapora,32 kms from here,the spokesman said.

The body was shifted to 92-Base hospital at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar for further medical formalities,the spokesman said.

Police has initiated the proceeding under section 174 of CrPC,he said.
