India’s position on J-K widely ‘accepted & appreciated’

'We have and are prepared to have consultations and discussions on all bilateral issue with Pakistan.'

India on Tuesday said Jammu and Kashmir was a bilateral issue between it and Pakistan and it was prepared to discuss all bilateral matters with Islamabad,a position widely accepted and appreciated by the international community.

Asked to react on Pakistan objecting to the exclusion of Kashmir from a list of disputes under the observation of the Security Council in a speech by the UK’s top diplomat in an annual debate on UNSC reforms,official spokesman Vishnu Prakash said Jammu and Kashmir is a bilateral issue between it and Pakistan.

“We have and are prepared to have consultations and discussions on all bilateral issue with Pakistan. This position of India is widely accepted and appreciated by members of the international community,” he said.
