All schools up to class eight shut in Noida till Jan 2

In the wake of intense cold conditions in Uttar Pradesh,all primary and junior schools will remain close till January 2,authorities said today.

District Magistrate Deepak Aggarwal has sent directives to all the schools,including government,aided and private,to remain closed till January 2.

The district administration has also set up a night shelter home at Sector 21A for poor people.

Meanwhile,the District Magistrate has appealed to NGOs to donate blankets to poor homeless people.
