Youth 4 Panun Kashmir (Y4PK), an organisation of migrant Kashmiri Pandit youth, here on Monday claimed to have lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police’s Cyber Crime Cell against PDP leader Iltija Mufti for her alleged “derogatory and inflammatory remarks”.

Pointing out that the complaint has been filed by Vithal Chowdhary, the Y4PK president, a statement said that Iltija’s remark was “deeply offensive, is aimed at inciting communal discord, and deliberately insults Lord Rama, the Hindu religion and its followers”. The complaint cites Sections 302, 325, and 323 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 67 of the IT Act.

Roots in Kashmir (RIK), another prominent Kashmiri Pandit organisation, welcomed the Y4PK’s move. RIK’s Amit Raina said it will provide all assistance to Chowdhary to ensure Iltija is booked.
