Maharashtra to get India’s longest running Vande Bharat train – Check route

Vande Bharat Express Train: Good news for Maharashtra. The state is all set to get its 12th Vande Bharat train, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 10. This new semi-high-speed train will be operated and maintained by the Central Railway (CR) zone.

Vande Bharat Train in Maharashtra

Maharashtra’s new Vande Bharat Express train will run between Ajni (Nagpur) and Pune. Both Nagpur and Pune are the fast developing mega cities with multiple small & medium industries, educational & medical institutions, places of historical and tourist interest, etc.

Ajni(Nagpur)-Pune Vande Bharat Express

The Ajni(Nagpur) – Pune Vande Bharat Express will be the longest running Vande Bharat train in the country, covering a distance of 881 kms. It will also be the first Vande Bharat to cover the regions of Wardha-Akola-Shegaon –Bhusaval-Jalgaon-Manmad and regions between Puntamba and Daund. It will also be the fastest train between Nagpur and Pune with a speed of 73kmph and 10 intermediate stoppages.

Ajni(Nagpur)-Pune Vande Bharat Express Commercial Run

The Pune-Ajni-Pune Vande Bharat Express will run as train number 26101/26102. It will begin its regular operations from Pine station with effect from August 11 and from Ajni station on August 12. The train will run six days a week.
