Ramdev wants Sachin,Dhoni to stop endorsing colas

'Cricketers should not forget that they were raised on dal and roti and not Coca Cola and Pepsi.'

Yoga guru Swami Ramdev on Friday said here that the Indian cricketers should stop endorsing aerated soft drinks such as Coca Cola and Pepsi.

“Indian cricketers should not forget that from their childhood,they were raised on dal and roti and not Coca Cola and Pepsi,” Ramdev said here,talking to reporters.

“I pray to the cricketers that they should not sell themselves for a little bit of money,” the famous Yoga guru added.

The prominent Indian cricketers who endorse soft drinks include Indian skipper M S Dhoni,Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh (all for Pepsi). Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar is the “Happiness Ambassador” of Coca Cola India.

In the wake of India beating Australia to reach the semifinal of the cricket World Cup to set up a clash with arch rival Pakistan,Swami Ramdev hoped that Indian team will go on to win the World Cup.
