My son does not require clean chit from anyone: Bhatt

Upset over reports attributed to security agencies that they have not cleared his son of any wrongdoing in connection with his dealings with terror suspect David Headley,filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt said on Saturday that he is hurt and that his son does not require a clean chit from anyone.

“I have read news reports attributed to security agencies wherein they have said that Rahul has not been given a clean chit for his Headley connection. I am deeply hurt. He is a true and responsible Indian who himself volunteered to share the information with the agencies. Rahul’s heart is clear and he doesn’t require any clean chit from anyone,” said Bhatt.

He also accused the security agencies of not keeping their word and leaking selective information to the media.

“We were asked to maintain silence,but see now what is happening.”
