India should ask Pakistan to hand over fugitives: Cong

Cong says India tell Pakistan that it would not tolerate any terror attack in the country from its soil.

As Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari arrives here on a private visit tomorrow,the Congress today said India should tell him that Islamabad hand over to New Delhi the fugitives demanded by it.

Party spokesman Rashid Alvi told reporters that India should send a clear message to Pakistan that it would not tolerate any terror attack in the country from its soil and any interference in its internal affairs.

Alvi said that India wants the best of relations with all its neighbours including Pakistan.

Earlier in the day,Union Minister Farooq Abdullah said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will not mince words and clearly convey India’s concern on terrorism and the need to book the perpetrators of 26/11 Mumbai attacks when he meets Zardari.
