Goa: CBI to quiz all linked to cops-drug peddler nexus case

The prime witness in the case has already pointed finger at Goa Home Minister Ravi Naik's son Roy.

The CBI has said that they will interrogate everyone who is linked with the policemen-drug peddler nexus case in Goa.

CBI’s deputy inspector General Pravin Salunke said that the investigations into the nexus cases in Goa have already been taken over by them.

“We will interrogate everyone upon whom we stumble during the investigation. Whoever he may be,we will question him,” Salunke said.

CBI’s statement came a day after Lucky Farmhouse, prime witness in the nexus, said that Goa Home Minister Ravi Naik’s son,Roy,had handed over drugs to her former boyfriend Yaniv Benaim alias Atala,an Israeli national.

Atala,an Israeli drug lord, was arrested in Goa following which the entire nexus was exposed. Seven policemen from Anti-Narcotic cell were arrested for selling drugs to the drug lords in the state.

CBI has taken over the investigation of three cases related to drug nexus after the High court directives.

Sources in CBI said that they have begun efforts to get in touch with Lucky after the PTI report.
