Yoga guru Swami Ramdev on Friday said that “99 per cent of the governments” in India were corrupt and anti-people,and lambasted the Land Acquisition Acts.

“Central and state governments do not want to change the Land Acquisition Acts which displace lakhs of people…99 per cent of the governments are corrupt,” Ramdev said at an interaction-session organised by the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry here.

The Yoga guru was here to address an anti-corruption rally.

Ramdev alleged that almost one-thirds of the land in Uttar Pradesh was being acquired by the state.

Urging people to join Bharat Swabhiman Trust’s campaign against corruption, black money and illegal mining,he said,”We have law and order in which corrupt people are not punished.”

He lauded the Supreme Court for acting as a deterrent to corruption. “People have started believing in the Supreme Court.”
