TIMELINE ON TRACK

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked the Railways to give monthly status report of the action plan on the various big ideas he wants it to implement. Last month, the Railways got late in sending the report to the PMO. Embarrassed, the Railway Board has decided to keep such a report prepared at least five days before they’re to send it. Instructions have gone out to all directorates to make sure this timeline is not breached.
