SC body wants rotation policy

Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Tuesday strongly recommended the implementation of the reservation rotation system in panchayat elections. In a communiqué to Punjab Chief Secretary Rakesh Singh,Chairman of state SC Commission Rajesh Bagha recommended to follow the set reservation rotation policy. He also cited apprehensions regarding non-implementation of the reservation rotation policy. Meanwhile,The state election commission has put a complete ban on the transfer of employees and officers concerned with panchayat elections.
