SAD(D) urges Sikhs to dump Modi

After facing defeat in Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee,Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) held a part religious part political convention to urge Sikhs of Delhi not to support Punjab chief minister Prakash Singh Badal and its ally Bhartiya Janta Party in the elections

After facing defeat in Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee,Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) held a part religious part political convention to urge Sikhs of Delhi not to support Punjab chief minister Prakash Singh Badal and its ally Bhartiya Janta Party in the elections.

While the convention passed a 17 point resolution in the meeting,most of the Sikh speakers remained fixated on Narendra Modi’s treatment to Sikhs in Gujarat. Paramjit Singh Sarna,president,SAD(Delhi),“Sikhs who have migrated to Gujarat almost 40 years ago have won their land cases in Gujarat High court High court and yet Modi government has filed filed an appeal against them in Supreme Court. We want him to withdraw the case. It is shameful that Badal has called Modi a ‘sardar’. Modi is a representative of RSS that will keep Sikhs minority,” said the president.
