Man found murdered in Rohtak

The A 22-year-old man was found dead in Rohtak district’s Chiri village in Haryana Sunday morning.

The A 22-year-old man was found dead in Rohtak district’s Chiri village in Haryana Sunday morning. The deceased,identified as Virender Singh,was a resident of Machrauli village in Panipat district but was staying in Chiri with his uncle Karan Singh. A monetary dispute between Virender and his friends has emerged as the preliminary cause of his murder.

The police received information about a body lying in the fields in the morning. ASP Rajesh Duggal,accompanied by DSP Mukesh Kumar also went to the spot.

Karan Singh told the police that Virender had been missing since Saturday evening. Numerous injury marks,purportedly inflicted with a sharp edged weapon,were found on the body,which was confirmed by the post mortem examination report from Rohtak’s Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences .

Based on Karan Singh’s complaint,who informed that Virender was having a monetary dispute with his friends,the Rohtak police registered a case on charges of murder against three persons.

“We have registered a case against whom the uncle of the deceased has levelled allegations. A few people have been detained for questioning and the investigation is on”,one of the investigating police officers told The Indian Express.

Virender used to work at a liquor vend on the outskirts of the village. For the past few months,he had started living with his uncle in village Chiri.
