Malayalam actor Kayva returns without voting

The actress did not stand in queue and headed straight for the voting room.

Popular Malayalam actor Kavya Madhavan,who was trying to jump queue at a polling booth here,had to return without casting her vote after a voter protested at her behaviour.

The actress,who was accompanied by her parents,did not stand in queue and headed straight for the voting room.

After an exchange of words with a man who protested,she returned without voting.

Kavya,who entered Malayalam film industry as a child actor,is well known for her roles in ‘Meesa Madhavan,’ ‘Mizhe Randilum’ and ‘Perumazhakallam’. She has also essayed roles in some Tamil films,including ‘Kasi’.
