Himachal Pradesh: 7 killed, 17 injured after bus fell into deep gorge

Seven persons were killed while 17 others were injured after a mini bus fell into a deep gorge near Sedhak Bridge which is situated on the Uttarakhand-Himchal Pradesh boarder. The bus was on way from Dehradun’s Vikashnagar to Tiuni area.

On being contacted, Circle Officer (Vikashnagar) S K Singh said injured persons are undergoing treatment at Nerwa (Himachal Pradesh) and Tiuni.

According to him, the site of accident falls under the jurisdiction of Himachal Pradesh’s Nerwa police station. “Those who are seriously injured are referred to higher medical centres,” he replied to a question. The incident occurred around 3 pm, he added.
