Girl rejects marriage proposal,set ablaze

Angered over his marriage proposal being rejected by her,a youth today set a teenaged girl on fire,police said.

The incident took place at Cantt area here. The 18-year-old girl was set on fire by the youth identified as Riyazuddin after she turned down his marriage proposal,they said.

The girl has been admitted to a hospital in a critical condition,police said.
