DRDO lensman held for ‘sharing info with ISI’

As a cameraman he had access to all the strategic places of the facility, said the police.

A DRDO cameraman in Chandipur area of Balasore district has been arrested for allegedly sending vital information about the missile launch facility to ISI agents in Pakistan.

Confirming the arrest, Balasore SP Abinash Kumar told The Indian Express that Ishwar Behera (35), a contractual cameraman at the Integrated Test Range facility in Chandipur, was under radar of IB for last few months. “Behera was getting calls from Pakistan. We suspect he was sending pictures of the missile facility to Pakistan. As a cameraman he had access to all the strategic places of the facility. He may have leaked some vital information, “ said the SP. Behera has been working in DRDO since last 8 years.
