Disciplinary action against 28 govt employees

Disciplinary action has been initiated against the 28 absent employees,he added.

Jammu and Kashmir government has initiated disciplinary action against 28 government employees after they were found absent from their duty during a surprise inspection of offices in Anantnag and Kulgam districts.

A team of officials led by Additional Commissioner Kashmir paid a surprise visit to various offices in Anantnag and Kulgam district yesterday and found 28 employees absent,an official spokesman said.

He said the offices which were inspected included the district hospital,Kulgam,Conservator of Forests,South Circle,Bijbehara,Soil Conservation Range Bijbehara and Forest Division,Bijbehara.

Disciplinary action has been initiated against the 28 absent employees,he added.
