Delhi has only one ‘authorised’ disco

For all those who wish to shake a leg after a day’s hard work,the national capital has only one ‘authorised’ discotheque.

“Only one discotheque licence has been issued by Delhi Police during 2006 to 2008,” Minister of State for Home Affairs V Radhika Selvi informed the Rajya Sabha during Question Hour.

The licence is renewed every year based on the ‘No Objection Certificates’ issued by district Deputy Commissioner of Police and Traffic Police.

The Minister said no specific complaint has been received by Delhi Police with regard to the discotheque which has got the licence.
