Senior Congress leader Mohan Prakash Thursday came up with a bizarre conspiracy theory to explain Narendra Modi’s controversial act of flashing the BJP’s lotus symbol and delivering a political speech after casting his vote in Gandhinagar. The AICC general secretary in charge of Gujarat claimed that BJP candidate from Gandhinagar, L K Advani, could be in trouble due to Modi’s act. “You need to connect it with the slogans in Lucknow — ‘Modi ko PM banana hai to Rajnath ko harwana hai’,” said the Congress leader cryptically. Given that Patel has denied having made any such statement, Choudhury’s letter has not amused the top brass.
