Class IV student ‘raped’ by Armyman,servant

Hoshiarpur: A student of class-IV alleged being gangraped by a retired army man and his servant. Police have arrested the servant while the army man is still absconding. The incident came to light Wednesday evening when the girl recounted the incident to her teacher. Medical report has confirmed rape and a case has been registered.

Migrant labourer dies in road accident

Amritsar: Sita Ram (28),a migrant labourer,died Thursday after a truck hit the tractor-trolley in which he was travelling. The accident took place between Majitha and Fatehgarh Churian road. Police said Ram was rushed to hospital but died on way. As per police,the truck then went on to hit another truck before ramming into two shops.
