PM Modi asks people to rate demonetisation in app survey

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday urged citizens to vote on the demonetisation policy through the Narendra Modi app on their mobile phones. He asked the public to participate in a survey where a number of questions have been posed with regard to scrapping of old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.

“I want your first-hand view on the decision taken regarding currency notes. Take part in the survey on the NM App,” he said in a tweet.

The app uses interactive tools like scrolling a pointer to mark the level of satisfaction. Some of the other questions asked include:

Do you think that black money exists in India?

Do you think the evil of corruption and black money need to be fought and eliminated?

What do you think of government’s move of banning old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes?

Do you have any suggestions, ideas or isnights you would like to share with PM Narendra Modi? Did you mind the inconvenience faced in a fight to curb corruption, black money, terrorism, and counterfeiting of currency?

The move comes amid intense attack from the opposition parties who are criticising the demonetisation policy. The move is facing protests from various parties in all parts of the country. The parliament session was a complete washout on Monday following the opposition’s protest against demonetisation. The Lok Sabha was adjourned for a day on Tuesday as well.
