Last month, the CIC had asked why Kejriwal should not be declared a public authority as he is an MLA, in a case that sought to know how he was allowed to change his address during 2014 Delhi Assembly poll nominations.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Thursday wrote a letter to Central Information Commissioner M Sridhar Acharyulu, stating he had taken exception to the Central Information Commission (CIC) “hiding” information pertaining to the educational qualification of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I have learnt that you have curtailed the disclosure of information related to the degree of PM Narendra Modi… there are allegations that Mr Modi has no degree. In the light of this, the people of the country want to know the truth. But you have refused to make information about his degree public. Why did you do that? This is wrong,” Kejriwal wrote.
