Taleem India plans Skill Devl Inst in Chandigarh

Chandigarh based,Taaleem India,considered a market leader in capacity building and skill enhancement,plans to train 12,000 students and corporate professionals in the region comprising Chandigarh,Punjab,Haryana,Jammu and Kashmir,Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh during 2012-13.

Jaiprakash S Hasrajani,Co-founder and CEO,Taleem India told here today who attended G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit held at Mexico recently as a delegate that :globally young entrepreneurs suffered due to paucity of funding and more than 70 per cent fail in their enterprises for their failure to access funds”. Centre and State Governments need to facilitate funding and venture capitalists must come forward to help them.

About Taleem India,he said that the company has during the past three years,trained more than 22,000 students and professionals and chiseled their skills. The result was that 7,500 student and professionals found jobs through the company efforts. In addition,the organization has provided multi-dimensional assistance to 12 leading academic institutes of the region.

Hasrajani informed that Taleem India has plans to open a Advance Skill Development College in Chandigarh by September 2012. The idea is to provide Industry specific training in this college and have tie-ups with corporates for immediate intake of students after they complete their professional courses. The services will be delivered on the ‘adoption model’,he said.
