School girl found raped,murdered

The class XII student’s body was recovered from the canal on August 4,they said,adding,the case was registered after her postmortem report confirmed that she was sexually assaulted before being killed.

The victim had gone to school,about ten days before her body was recovered,and when she did not return home,her filed a missing persons report,they said.

A team of police yesterday visited the deceased’s school and checked her attendance record and inquired about her from the school principal and her class incharge and other students of the school,they said.
