Another gangrape in Badaun: 35-yr-old raped by three men

A 35-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by two of her neighbours and their associate in Bisauli police station area in Badaun district. The victim’s neighbours Himanshu and Khaleefa and an  unidentified person named in the case are absconding.

Station Officer, Bisauli police station, Jeet Singh said the house in which the alleged incident took place belongs to Himanshu and is 300 metres away from the victim’s home in Bisauli. Police said the victim, in her complaint lodged Saturday, alleged that Himanshu visited her house Friday and said he wanted to rent out his house. She accompanied him with her two children to see the house. Himanshu asked her to stay there and left, while her children went to sleep in another room, she said. Himanshu returned with the other accused and allegedly raped her.

The woman’s medical examination report is awaited.

Additional SP, Badaun, Om Prakash Yadav said the victim’s husband has been lodged in jail in a murder case for the past two years.
