Bihar Assembly Election Results 2025: Kumhrar recorded the lowest voter turnout across the two phases of voting in Bihar out of the total 243 Assembly constituencies.

Bihar Assembly Election Results 2025: The results of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 were announced on Friday, November 14. The ruling NDA returned with a thumping majority, with both the BJP and the JD(U) increasing their seats. The opposition was bruised with the Mahagathbandhan only managing to win 35 seats.

The voter turnout in the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections was recorded at 66.91 per cent, officially the highest-ever voter turnout in the state since 1951, the Election Commission of India stated. Out of this, the voting percentage among women voters was 71.6 per cent, as much as 8.8 percentage points more than the 62.8 per cent turnout among men.

Kumhrar recorded the lowest voter turnout in Phase 1 of voting as well as out of the overall 243 Assembly constituencies, with only 40.17 per cent of voters registering their votes for the nominated candidates, as per the ECI website. Meanwhile, in Phase 2, Nawada recorded the lowest voter turnout, with a meagre 55.07 per cent of voters exercising their franchise, the ECI website highlighted.
